Bachtale Apsa band (meaning "happy tears") ranks nowadays among the best Roma bands in the Czech Republic. Mário Bihári, its frontman and founder, is a blind accordion player, singer and composer.

In composing its repertoire, the band draws on the folk music of Czech and Slovak Roma people as well as the Balkan and Rumanian music tradition.

Excellent vocals and brilliant performances of musicians in rousing rhythms are assets which turn this band into Roma music classics in the best sense of the word. Last year Bachtale Apsa gave around 50 concerts not only in the CR but also in Paris, Munich or Thessaloniki and on several occasions you could also see them or hear them on the Czech TV or radio. At concerts of traditional music the band will perform in the following line up: Mário Bihári (accordion, vocals), Petr Horváth (guitar, vocals), František Raba (double-bass) and Tokhi (percussion

Russian Gypsies was established quite recently, in 2010, but it’s members had been friends and colleagues since they childhood.
The group’s music is a blend of traditional Roma music, Russian omances and fiery dances.

The group consists of 9 members and has perfomed at vaious concerts all over the world. They have appeared in many TV shows, movies, recorded CD’s and represented Russia at many festivals around Europe and in the USA.
