Høstsabbat 2019 will go down October 4th and 5th at Kulturkirken JAKOB. A stunning church in the heart of Oslo, with an atmosphere unrivalled. Over two days you will experience slow and crushing doom, heavy bluesrock, stoner, proto-heavy metal, psychedelic spacerock and prog. Høstsabbat will showcase the best of the current underground scene of heavy music, bringing new talent as well as established names. Summon the spirits, gather the souls… STAGES There will be three alternating stages with their own unique vibe. 1. THE CHAPEL. In the church room you will find the stunning main stage. This stage will fit all of you. Meet up and revel in! 2. THE CRYPT is a smaller club stage in the basement with all the dungeon vibes needed. This stage has a limited capasity, which means if you are dying to see a band – get there early to be sure you don’t miss out. When the capasity is reached, there will be one person out one person in-principle. 3. VERKSTEDET is a concert venue and bar literally across the street from the church with a capacity of 140 people. This is a new addition to this years Høstsabbat and will be a stage with Norwegian bands only. When the capasity is reached, there will be one person out one person in-principle, so be early to catch your favourite. TENT, FOOD AND TOILETS There will be a big outdoor tent connected to the church where there will be a lot of seatings, great barbecue food (for both meat lovers and vegans), refreshing drinks and smashing band merchandise. You will also find the toilets outside beside the tent, and a couple ones in the crypt/basement. MERCH There will be merch, and there will be lots of it. You’ll find it in the tent outside. All the merch will be possible to buy with cash. Some of the merch will be possible to buy with Vipps (Norwegian money transfer app). And some merch can buy with credit card. More info on this when the festival is closing up. ARRIVAL 1. BUS If you want to get as close to the church as possible you should take bus number 34 or 54. These will literally stop next to the church. The stop is named “Jakob Kirke”. You can also take bus number 30, 31, 31E and 32 and jump off at “Hausmannsgate”. From there it’s a 4 minute walk. 2. TRAM You can use tram number 11, 12 and 13. The stop is named «Hausmannsgate» and is a short 4 minute walk from the church. 3. TRAIN OR FLIGHT When you arrive by train or flight, jump of at Oslo S (Oslo Sentralbanestasjon/Oslo Central Station). From there you can take one of the buses or trams mentioned above, or walk for 10 minutes. WHEEL CHAIRS We have a ramp for wheel chairs.
