FOUR LIONS // TRASSFILM I JAKOB

Som en del av TRASSÅRET 2023 i Kulturkirken Jakob, viser vi et knippe satiriske "trassfilmer". Serien er kuratert av performancekunstner Kate Pendry, som også vil holde innledning til filmene.

Denne onsdagen i Kulturkirken Jakob skal vi få se Chris Morris` FOUR LIONS:

"Chis Morris – (possibly the UK’s leading satirist in TV and film) is fearless and brilliant with his 2010 film Four Lions. This is a satirical black comedy about Islamic suicide bombers, and Morris crucially targets his sacrilegious energy not at all at the tenets of Islam –– but simply at the activity of suicide bombing itself.

The film has extraordinary performances from amongst others actor and rapper Riz Ahmed – in what was arguably his break-though role.
The film is hilarious and horrifying, but also deeply human."
