The church space has a ceiling height of 18m, flexible seating + a gallery. A movable amphi may be put in place for concerts and performances. Max seated capacity is 530, max standing is 650 – yet through lighting and seating adjustments, the space can be made into an intimate venue, working beautifully for audiences of 100-150 people.
The stage area is flexible and can be augmented using modular structures. The altar piece, Adoration of the Shepherds (1880), is considered the main work of Norwegian artist Eilif Petersen.
The sound system (installed August 2016) is a flown L’Acoustics KARAi array with matching subs + front and gallery fills, all carefully adjusted to the acoustics of the space. The space has 5 motorized light trusses spread across the space, thus giving artists flexibility to use other areas of the room as the main stage area.
The church owns a Steinway D concert grand (2000) and a 64 voice electronic Allan church organ, distributable from the organ speakers in the gallery or the PA system. The windows allow light to flow in during daytime and can be easily and fully blended using motorized curtains.
